Rotten or soft floors are usually caused by poor ventilation, unsealed timber or additional fittings that have not been sealed properly to keep out moisture. When Banister Marine replaces a floor we ensure all timber is fibreglassed top and bottom to maintain structural strength and ensure a long life for the new floor. Proper drainage and sealed drain plugs are installed with every floor either re-flocoated and veiled inside or marine carpet put back or replaced so the boats new floor looks like new again.
