Probably the most common gelcoat damage on a boat is along the keel, either from wear and tear up and down sandy beaches, from rocks, trailer damage, or even sometimes the boat being dropped off the trailer from the boat ramp. Banister Marine can remove the boat from the trailer, either place it to a stand or sling it onto its side to carry out these repairs, usually adding more gelcoat to the running surface of a keel giving it a little bit more of a wear pad to your boat and making it look like new again. This is done a lot to fishing boats each season as a small amount of maintenance to protect your hull.
